Portraits

Creating a great portrait requires collaboration between the Photographer and the person being photographed that provides an identity to the person’s mood, personality, strengths and/or weaknesses and identity. It should tell a story! The image should catch your attention and not let go until your eyes have thoroughly wondered up/down, over and across the image allowing you to sense and feel its story. This is accomplished through the photographers understanding of Light (its quality and direction), as well as composition, posing, expression and complimentary colors.
