Hoover Gathering Place was created in September 2023 on a cool fog filled morning on Hoover Reservoir. As the dense fog was lifting, I positioned my kayak in a spot that I felt best captured the scene. The White seagulls and the black Cormorant juxtaposed against the light grays of the fog and the darker tones of the tree called out for this image to be done in Black and White!
